ICOON picture dictionary 应用的评论

Lots of reviewers misinterpreting the app. It's great for traveling to places with high communication barriers (Asia, etc). Has been useful in my trips through Japan and Vietnam. I recommend it to a lot of my friends.

I don't understand the purpose. Graphics are nice but can't do a thing with them. They are Useless

I wanted this for one reason to Copy and Paste the icons in texts or iMessages. I'm not sure why the developer(s) didn't make that option available. When you travel even with language barriers you meet people, make new friends, get phone numbers, and it would be nice to be able to send an icon to someone you sort of know rather than having to ask complete strangers where to find something or how to get somewhere. Make Copy and Paste an option and I will change my review for sure!

This is a pretty awesome app! Needs a little done to it but it's great

This is quite a comprehensive list of icons but there are no definitions. I can figure out what many of the icons are depicting, but if I saw some of these on a sign I would have no idea what it was trying to tell me. A short definition would be useful. Probably won't use this app unless definitions are forthcoming.

This app has way less icons than the book. Why? Missing out on a ton of useful words as a result. Also, it says I can adjust the language of te categories but I cannot see that feature live in my app.

I do a lot of traveling and have only passable knowledge of German, French and Spanish, which gets you pretty far around the world, but not in Asia. Now with ICOON, i don't worry about not remembering the words for what I need. Very useful, and also very funny! The graphics are great, rendered in beautiful line illustrations. Highly recommended!!

Finally my favourite travel companion is also available for iPhone and iPod touch. I used the ICOON book quite a lot on my travels.
